My philosophy is that any couple can work out their
differences better than the courts. My favorite work is uncontested
divorces, even between seemingly hostile couples. I act as a hybrid

I am one of the pioneers of the Collaborative Law movement in the Puget Sound area. Collaborative Divorce has become very popular in many other states. It's a team approach where you and your spouse work with two lawyers committed to reaching a resolution without court, potentially saving much money in lawyer costs. I prepare community property agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, and agreements for gay couples. I am very supportive of people handling their own family law matters, and provide what is known as "pro-se" assistance. We meet so that I can review your paperwork and explain any information you may need to handle your case yourself. You retain control of your case, and I am your helpful, silent partner. |
